DIY Foam Sewing Craft for Kids
Whether it’s a bed bound child who’s under the weather or just a young one that loves to practice sewing, these home made sewing cards are a fun project. Craft foam, embroidery thread and a child’s sewing needle are all you need.

Craft Supplies:

  • Craft foam shapes
  • Child safe sewing needle
  • Embroidery thread
  • Colored markers
  • Toothpick (optional)

How to Make It:

  1. Use the child safe sewing needle or toothpick to poke holes in the foam pieces creating a design for your child to sew.
  2. Thread the needle with embroidery thread and sew designs.
  3. Use colorful markers to accent your designs!
